When you say employee id, what do you mean? The account id, like JDoe, or is it an actual ID number of some kind? I think in Office 365 you can still get some information from the User Information list for the site, so perhaps start with that. Create a connection to the user information list, drag the fields onto the form, and see if the data you ...

I was wondering if you can guide me on how to do something like that. I wand to be able to just type in the employee Id and for it to autopopulate the additional information like (name, title, department, phone, email etc) in a repeating table. Is it something that I can do in InfoPath 2013 using sharepoint online?

Hi, I'm looking to submit different data fields to an Access DB with single connection but Infopath don't permit this.
There is only one principal connection that I can use to submit.
To retrieve data there are no issues to add them.. why? How can I resolve this?
Thanks

Any chance I could see a copy of the form? I've seen this before in Library forms occasionally - I'll have to look up the error to recall the circumstances.

Hey,
I'm trying to publish an infopath form to a SharePoint custom list. There is the error I get from Infopath when I try to publish...
'The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:
Server was unable to process request. ---> Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
'
Please help.

I'm going to open a case on it, so we at least have it on our radar. Decisions on implementation of features are not mine to make, but this will at least get it on the radar. :)

Thank you for the explanation, Hilary!
I checked everything several times and didn't suspect that it's not supported. Will try to find some workaround for this.
By the way, do you have any plans to implement it in the future?
