Hi Tucker,
You need to promote properties from the InfoPath form template and then they will be available.
Jo-Anne Alfafara did a webinar showing how to integrate InfoPath forms with tasks and workflow back in January.
Check out Qdabra's YouTube channel and search for that video to see how she did it.
Good luck!

Weird. I have no idea why. Can you download the XSN from the SharePoint site (library settings->advanced->edit template) and verify it was published?
If there is a rule parsing error (see rule inpector for any invalid fields) it's possible that the rule parser is failing.

Hi ShannonW,
Yes, you can do this using a file:// protocol and asking the user to click a link. To do it programmatically, our qRules plugin has a command to open a URL (which could be the link to the file). If you're interested in the latter, we'd be happy to show you how. No code required.
Thanks!

Hi Manish2952,
Just add a data connection that queries the database (receive) and then filter on the ClientID. Another way to do this is with a Web service but that probably won't work with Access. Out-of-the-box InfoPath won't give you parameterized query expressions, but you can write code to filter.
With SQL you have more options ...

Hi Patrick,
Yes correct, we use Sharepoint 2010 in combination with Office 365.
We get the issues in the browser itself when filling in the form in sharepoint and submitting it. The size of the .xsn file is 2MB, so that shouldn't be the issue. After adding more than 8.2MB we receive the errormessage that it cannot be uploaded since the ...

Hi OMG1376,
You can copy the view from one designer form to the other and rebind the fields. That's easy to do and will save you from having to recreate it.
Just select all and do a ctrl-c to copy it in the source form and then a ctrl-v to paste it in the target form.
Now, right click on the fields and choose Change Binding.
The rules ...

Yes that worked great, thank you.
Just one question though, how did you select the relative path?
I've tried to do the same in other tables for other fields but I get the "does not point...." error again ! I've tried selecting the fields and typing the fields but no good.
Thank you.

Hi Mara,
Office 365 has been transitioned to SharePoint 2013 in the US. Are you saying it's still SharePoint 2010 in Europe?
Office 365 is a very limited environment for InfoPath browser. Are you experiencing the issues int he browser or in the InfoPath filler?
Have you tried to call Microsoft Support?
SharePoint 2010 standalone ...

We made a form in Infopath and that's published in Sharepoint 2010 (Office 356). In Sharepoint 2010 we can find the form and fill it in. In this form we are also able to attach several attachments in there. As soon as we save the form, we receive an error that the size is too big and that it is not saved.
Question 1: How many ...

Hi All
I'm hoping someone can help me with my form functionality. I'm using InfoPath2010 to write information to a SharePoint 2010 list. My list is a list of organisations we deal with and already exisits in SharePoint with some organisations already input - it typically has the following columns:
