    Vlookup in infopath form

    I have two infopath forms

    1. Client Info

    2. Billing

both forms are connected with my access database

Client info form contain Client ID(auto numbering) Name and Address

Billing form contain Bill No. (auto numbering)Client ID, Client Name, Address, description and amount

Now want to know that by inserting only client ID in billing form the name and address field fill automatically as same data saved in client info table

    Hi Manish2952,

Just add a data connection that queries the database (receive) and then filter on the ClientID. Another way to do this is with a Web service but that probably won't work with Access. Out-of-the-box InfoPath won't give you parameterized query expressions, but you can write code to filter.

With SQL you have more options since Web services exist. Have you considered moving your Access DB to SQL?

    Thanks!
