I believe the name of the current form is stored in the this.Uri property (there should be no difference between FormServer or regular InfoPath).
Hence, the code would look like this:
this.MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode( "/my:myFields/my:field1", ...

Hmm... I have never owned a blackberry so I wouldn't be able to test on it. However, there is one thing to verify: did you make sure your form has been enabled to be rendered on mobile devices?
1. Make sure your form is browser-compatible
2. Tools | Form Options, select "Browser" and make sure "Enable rendering on a ...

This is curious... so I am assuming you are doing admin-deploy? It is always a bit tricky. Things I would check:
1. Has the form been correctly published (aka saved) before it got uploaded to SharePoint?
2. Check the SharePoint log, maybe there is something else happening and you're just getting a wrong error
3. It should not be required, ...

Forms Server uses the SharePoint log files (typically located under %CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS) with Area=''Forms Server''

I see... well, it is supposed to work, as a matter of fact, I don't know of any other straight way of getting the form to work in both other than making it full trust, signing and admin-deploying it (you have to do all of it, of course).
Maybe the forms server has a problem with the signing certificate? Do check the server logs and see if there is ...

Hello Vantuykom, what are the symptoms that you are encountering when trying to fill out the form? Could you type up the complete steps of how you published your form?
Before deploying a complex form, I would recommend a ''hello world'' approach: have a form that does nothing but set a value of a field in its OnLoad and see if that works.
Things ...

I would recommend checking the log file to see exactly what the problem is first:
Go to ''C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS'' (or wherever your SharePoint logs are)
Repeat the operation that causes a failure in IPFS and check the latest entry in the log (it should have ''Forms Server'' in it). It should ...

In XML, you have to escape your ampersands... so instead of & you should write ''& amp ;''
This should fix your problem

Did you have a chance to read this article:http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms778201.aspx ?
It describes in detail how to deploy and use the XmlFormView control (using VS).
Search for ''Getting a Value from the Web Page to the Form'' in that article and that should get you going.
Also worth checking ...

Hello Rob,
InfoPath 2007 comes with a new Object Model so by default, you will not see thisXDocument or thisApplication. It is still possible to use the old 2003 OM if you choose to. However, before going into this, could you please tell me how your code will be interacting with InfoPath? In IP2007, there are three ways:
1. Your code is running ...
