Hello all,I'm having trouble implementing a double eval function for a repeating section. In essence, what I'm trying to do is to combine all checkbox values from a repeating section into a single field for search purposes. This will probably be a long post as the requirement is a little complex, so I apologize up front if I ...

Not sure I understand what you are saying here. In the earlier posts Hillary specifically mentions a place to select 'Manage multiple items' as being the only way you can do that in a List (not library). This then gives you the option for repeating sections. I am not seeing that option anywhere and I do not have the ability to add a ...

I am not sure i understand your solution. You are suggesting that I contain the data in a listbox/dropdown or simular and house that within a repeating group? My data is all being directed at a number of SP lists (and not within a forms library for business process reasons), would this solution require a third list to house the data?

Thanks for that donstephen. I am glad that I had the right thought process about this. I have uploaded the form and when I access the form library I do not see the form. This is what I see:

Hi remigiuszmarian,
Yes, you would need to use the exact library location at the Data Connection Wizard. It is actually the link located at the URL but will have extra strings, so you would need to remove those.
Example:
http://<mysharepoint>/<mysite>/<myformname>/Forms/AllItems.aspx
So you should only use ...

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for your answer. But for me it is not so easy :(
I have Infopath Filler 2010.
I know how to do formatting rules but I don't know: How to do a workflow status? How to set the user role? Where and how to do this? How to connect this with the button?
Do I have to specify all users in e.g. sharepoint?
I will be ...

I have been researching this all day and I believe I am very close but I cannot quite get this to work. I have a combobox which is populated from a secondary data connection. The combobox contains employee names and is filtered to only show Active employees from a sharepoint list. This part is working well. next I would ...
