 Hi Hilary, I'm getting this error when trying to create the data connection in design mode in the template.xsn. I'm using the "Customize Form" link in the SharePoint UI. I'm using IE9. Not sure what you mean by "Does your url work in the browser?"

I have created a browser form in IP 2010 to publish to a O365 site.  I think you instead need to look at the data connection and change the URL there: http://msdn.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/microsoft.office.infopath.webserviceconnection.aspx might help.

Does your URL work in the browser? Is it http or https? What version of IE do you have installed? I ask because if I recall correctly there was an issue w/ https and a particular version of IE that returned this error in IP when creating the connection.

I know there is a rule to do this, but I need to do it via code. I got a navigator to the datasource and was expecting to see XML with atributes like URL etc. but see nothing. Is this at all possible & how? Thanks

I have a list form open in InfoPath that I am modifying. I am trying to follow your guidelines here but when I create my new list form and use the url to the list, the option to 'Manage Multiple Items' is not showing on my data connection wizard. Is there something I need to do in the list itself to have that option?

Hi all, I need a mix of repeated section and normal fields in my infopath form. The whole fields from the repeated section and other fields needs to be added to the document library and the user needs to enter multiple records. how do i do this? Regards Roma
