All,
I've a form with many simple drop down lists i.e Yes/No. There are split into "sections".
How can I validate against these sections and have the validation refreshed if an answer is changed?
i.e
questions 1-20 = section 1
questions 21-30 = section 2
If any of the questions in section 1 = No set field X to No.
Yet ...

The design look is out of the box. You'll need to open the form with InfoPath design to change the text and rules of each button.

I have an Infopath form that I either want to change the buttons, delete the buttons (make my own) or hide the buttons (make my own). I am not sure where, or how to do this. Here is a screen shot of the buttons I would like to change. Are these standards buttons on every Infopath form?

Hi,
I have a question/problem using Sharepoint 2010 and Infopath 2010, any help would be appreciated.
I have a table (list) that exists on Sharepoint 2010 which contains basic information entered by an associate (a person's name, address, phone, etc.). When I view this table in Sharepoint (on the top toolbar) there is an Infopath button ...

I have a old VB6 application that displays a lot of excel file reports.
Can a infopath template included be also included as a report in VB6?
Are infopath templates supported in VB6 environment.

These 3 lines of code is exactly what I wanted. I'm still a bit confused about the difference between a DataSource and a DataConnection though. Will need to read the docs.
Thanks both.

Hilary is absolutely right about interacting with the data connection object, but REST connections inherit from the FileQueryConnection class:
FileQueryConnection conn = (FileQueryConnection)DataConnections["REST Web Service"];
conn.FileLocation = "http://server/someservice.svc?param1=a&param2=b";
conn.Execute();

Sorry about that - we need a (much) better error message here and I've opened a case on that. I actually think when the installer fails it is what leaves a hung IP process about - I'm hoping we can check to see if IP is running and warn the user to quit instead. :)

Yup, that worked. Appear to have had a lost (no visible interface) InfoPath session running.

Close all instances of InfoPath. Open Task Manager and under processes, see if INFOPATH.EXE is running for any user - if it is, end the process (alternately, restart the machine). Then try again.
