Without any third party tools, without any custom code can one use a standard rule to change a combobox into a textbox.
I realize that the standard way to do this would be to have two sections that show conditionally and house the different two control types, both tied to the same data source. Any *easier* way to do this?

I have a list with a "effective date" column and an "amount" column.
I want to auto-populate a field in the form with the most current rate. To do this, I'll need to lookup the closest date from the date I have in the form and populate with the amount.
How can I perform that filter/lookup?

Hi Adam,
Regarding the red asterick (*) for a mandatory field, is it possible to place the asterick (*) outside the field itself?
For some reason, when the form is published to Sharepoint the red asterick (*) gets dispayed on the far left of the field covering up the text.
Thanks

Ultimately what we want is to have 1 form that multiple users fill out and submit. When the infopath form is submitted it then dumps the data ...

I looked through my form to make the suggested modifications to the form settings and rules. I am already using the "Save As" field at the SharePoint Library Data Connection. I do not understand as to what I need to do to set up the "TTU ID" as the form name. I guess I am a little confused because if I create a action ...

Hi Hilary,
I am not. IP is 2010 and Outlook is 2007.
Bummer. I was hoping that the email would include the PDF files.
I am not changing the view at all. The button simply is on the bottom of the current view and when clicked, the form is submitted through the email data connection.
