Has there been any progress other than the work-around? I discovered that creating a hyperlink to MSN.com works just fine, but once you insert "mailto" it ceases to function as a link. I cannot modify and existing link or create one from scratch to initiate an e-mail. I'm hoping that there is another solution besides using ...

Thank-you all for sending your solutions. This post is a little dated and it didn't solve my problem (domain error as in the first post) but it did get me tweaking IE settings and that fixed my problems. In my case, I had to add the path that my database is on into the IE trusted intranet zones.

FSO access is the sote owner access. I have resolved the problem though. Just changed the data connection of the field. But, when included in data connection 1, the field still gives error...

Is this a list form? You might want to save a copy of the form for a backup, and then refresh the fields - I think that is under the data tab in a list form. If it isn't a list form, maybe you could post a screenshot showing the error under the Options in a reply.
