I have created a SharePoint 2013 Infopath form for Team Input. The first entry is their Work Standard ID Number. From that entry, I use a "GetUserProfileByName" data connection to the Soap Server. I need the form to bring me back the name of the person who owns the Standard ID Number.
This works using the following concatenation: ...

Hi - I'm sorry, I am having trouble understanding your question. What are you trying to achieve?

Hi,
Will this be compatible with a SharePoint repeating list?

Oh good plan. Since rich text is xhtml, it is very possible that there is a difference between the data submitted by InfoPath and the data stored in SharePoint. Sort of like when we upload a document with illegal chars, SharePoint will just change them to "_". I'm glad you found an approach that at least works, but yes, this does ...

Hi, thank you for your response. In fact, have not tried to physically compare the values. But because Sharepoint "thinks" it has been changed, it is very possible that Infopath form alters the value everytime I save the form. If the multiline field is without formatting, no changes are triggered.

But I wonder - as a work around, have you tried in your Flow getting the actual prior version of the list item and just terminating the Flow if the Rich Text field in the prior version = the current value? I would probably use a couple of compose actions so ...

Are you using InfoPath Filler or Browser forms? If you are using SharePoint Online, and InfoPath Browser, my assumption is that they intend to remove ...

Is there a tutorial available for modifying task approval screen in InfoPath when using SPD 2013 workflow? I can't seem to find it anywhere on Google or YouTube. There are other tutorials available but not this one. Let's say there is a workflow which goes to line manager for approval. I want to design line manager approval screen in ...

I will give this a try - I was trying a workaround with nintex workflow
Created a text Variable.
Use a "Build Dynamic String" action.
Insert the following reference: {Common:WebUrl}/Lists/{Common:ListName}/EditForm.aspx?ID={ItemProperty:ID}
Choose to store the result in the workflow variable
Added that variable to the email ...

The problem is likely that "now()" is returning the current date time on submit. And if the userid is actually using the userName() function, that would maybe change each submit as well. I would probably add a new field for the form name and on form submit, if the form name field is blank, use a rule to set the new field to a formula ...
