If you're using the Fx dialog to create the concat, you may have to use commas instead of semicolons. Make sure you insert your fields using the button so that InfoPath adds the correct xpath. You can use single quotes or double quotes to insert the commas. Otherwise, Potemkine is "right on the money". Cheers!

Are both sites on the same machine? InfoPath Form Services (IPFS) inject the URL for the form template into the completed XML file. Open the XML in notepad and you can see the href attribute at the top of the form. If this href points to a location that is not on the same server, my *guess* is that IPFS isn't going to run it because that XSN ...

Hi Praneeth,
Try googling your error string. Lots of people are having the same problem and there are a few interesting posts. For example: http://geekswithblogs.net/stas/archive/2005/03/23/27098.aspx

Which version of InfoPath are you using? 2003, 2007, or 2010?
The data connection wizard for your email connection should allow you to control whether you send the form in the view or as an attachment. For example, you can remove the filename attachment field (just make it blank) and it won't send the form that way.
Good luck!

Hi FrankC,
You'll want to use SetContext method - requires code. Search for that in the InfoPath 2003 SDK. Go to InfoPath Resources on right side of forum to find a link to download the 2003 SDK.

No kidding!? Microsoft used to say they don't support user roles. Oh well, I should have checked. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Hi Catharine,
To answer your question about deleting and reshredding, yes, you should be able to do that but it seems like a lot of trouble to workaround the issue.
I'm wondering if the lock is coming from SharePoint or DBXL. We should probably schedule a brief support call to investigate your issue.
We are also testing ...

This isn't a good way to do it since you could have two people submit at the same time.
My recommendation is to submit the form and then query the SharePoint list to get the ID for the submitted form and set a field in your form and then submit again. In other words, your Submit button will do a submit, query, set and then another submit.
