Unfortunately I can't seem to get it to connect in Sharepoint online without errors. I did find a way around the problem.
I created a list with the types of budget requests and who can approve them, and when the form loads if the title is not blank and the current user is in the list of approvers, it redirects to the ...

Hi,
I believe that the User Profile Service still works for SharePoint 2013 and it should be able to the current user's information and you could use that to hide/show sections and/or switch views. However, you may encounter some issues with SharePoint 2013 so I am recommending this webinar hosted by Hilary. Hope this helps.

I am running some very complex customized forms.
I realized I am using many (in some cases most) of the fields as software variables for manipulating the form (e.g. dynamic links, temporary storage,...).

I'm looking for a good tutorial with Infopath 2013 on changing the view a user sees on a form by the role they are in, either via a Sharepoint Group, or if I have to membership in a Sharepoint list.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hopefully someone can help me. I have a form that submits to an Access Database and it is working well for me and other users in my office. We recently sent out the form to test at other sites (same Domain) and the users are getting the message some rule were not applied. Details reveal that the form failed to connect to ...
