Hi,
No. That's not what I am after. No repeating tables.
I have a list (say "Members") with its customized form.
What I want to achieve is the following:
Whenever I update (save) data using this "Members" form, I want a new record to be written to a DIFFERENT list (say "History") with data identical to the data saved to "Members".
The idea is to track all changes made in the "Members" list in the "History" list
I worked around it by introducing a hyperlink which opened a new form (http://sp1...../Lists/History/Newform.aspx?ID=) and passed parameters to it which were used to initialize all its fields (no code used).
Then, the user had to press "Save" in this newly opened History form to save the data and create a new History record.
I want the same effect - create a History record for every save of a "Members" form - but without user intervention at all.
Regards,
YK
