I have a form that pulls some information from a database via a web service, then sends information back. There are two fields involved in this issue, item_name and item_ID. Naturally the ID is needed when sending info back so that ... They all have Reader rights to everything on the site. They all have edit rights to the form library. They can all go to the list in question and open it. She is no different in any of these aspects. The only difference is that she cannot open this ... She already had the domain listed as a Trusted Site. She added the domain to the Local Intranet setting, that did not do anything. I have checked the form security and it is set appropriately, to trust data from the domain. As I said, she is the only user who has reported this problem, so I would ... Posted to General (Forum) by funniegrrl on 04-25-2007 User cannot open InfoPath form: DataObject either cannot be created or cannot be initialized I have an InfoPath 2003 form published to a SharePoint form library. The form has one drop-down control which is populated by a SharePoint list on that same site. (The name of the list is phases.) One user out of several dozen cannot open the form. The message she gets is: The following DataObject either cannot be ... Posted to General (Forum) by funniegrrl on 04-24-2007 Re: XPath equivalent of IF Function? Genius! Sheer genuius! It works like a charm. I had actually thought about trying that, but then assumed it would be unnecessary overkill. That'll teach me! heh heh Thanks, Greg, I really appreciate the help. Saved the day! Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by funniegrrl on 02-16-2007 Re: XPath equivalent of IF Function? Hi, thanks for trying to help! Here's some more information, and where I stand now. The first field is a drop-down called budget. Based on the choice made in this field, a second field, budget_ind, is populated with a number using rules set up on budget. There is conditional formatting on budget_ind which changes the color of the field: ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by funniegrrl on 02-15-2007 Re: XPath equivalent of IF Function? Hi Greg -- That's a good idea, but the data has to actually be used elsewhere, it's not just about hiding the one that's larger. The outcome of this function would be part of a rule about the contents of a 4th field. Shilpa, I appreciate your help. I'm not a programmer and I don't know anything about nodes, etc., so I'm not sure what to do ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by funniegrrl on 02-14-2007 XPath equivalent of IF Function? Hi there -- I'm relatively new to InfoPath and brand-new to XML/XLT/XPath, whathaveyou. I have a form in which I'm trying to compare two fields, and, based on the result, display one or the other. In Excel I'd write the statement like this: =IF(fielda<fieldb, fielda, fieldb) In other words, if “fielda” is smaller than “fieldb”, then display ...
