Thanks Matt! It was as I suspected, I don't get the option of Rules. My field properties just show the Data Validation option, there isn't a 'Rules' Option below it. This information in itself is valuable though as it stops me looking elsewhere and trying other things. Bloody Microsoft lol

Actually that doesn't make sense at all, as the program that the SP installation file stops on is Frontpage, which I have installed from my CD.. Back to square 1 then!
