I saw a previous post about setting a rule on a check box based on a text box entry, this is similar but combines several buttons which should affect a final check box. I want this check box to automatically check 'true' if the 4 previous buttons ... I now wonder, though, if there will be issues because our org doesn't upgrade all Office products simultaneously. So I'll still have IP2010 when SP2013 is released. But I have made sure I will continue to have Site Collection admin rights in the new environment so ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by chrisgee on 08-12-2013 Sharepoint 2013 and injected forms My org is gearing up to move from Sharepoint 2010 to 2013 and I've heard they won't support 3rd party software, at least not initially. I don't know enough about the back-end stuff to say whether or not this means my qRules-injected forms will stop working or not. In my mind, these forms are relatively self-contained, but do they do ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by chrisgee on 08-08-2013 Re: error: ExtractXSN() Yes I think the first file opens without issue, but when I try to attach the source form file I get this error. I have tried it with several forms and they all give this error. After that I can pull up my Sharepoint list info, but the List Importer Schema Tree from my source form won't display at all. I am using IP2010. Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by chrisgee on 05-08-2013 error: ExtractXSN() I tried to use the "Qdabra InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool" but when I tried to add the source .xsn I got an error: Error occurred in function ExtractXSN(). Details: Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.EnvironmentPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by chrisgee on 05-07-2013 Re: Moving from trial to full version, do i need to create a new mapping.xml? I think both are 4.3. The form is for SP2010. I was getting errors at first, concerning some filters I had set up. I removed the filters and the Design Checker lists no errors. However, when I try to publish I still get the message that the form has elements that can't be displayed in a browser. I run the Design Checker again and it still ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by chrisgee on 05-07-2013 Moving from trial to full version, do i need to create a new mapping.xml? I finally got the paid version of qRules but I'm getting some weird errors in trying to deploy a form. I reinjected the form with the paid version of qRules, but I'm now wondering, do I need to go through the "Qdabra InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool" and re-map everything using the new version? The error I'm receiving ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by chrisgee on 05-06-2013 Re: is an Infopath installation needed on enduser machine? if the end user does not have Infopath installed locally, the only way they can use an Infopath form is if you use the 'web browser form' option. i think in IP2007 there are some features that won't work as a web-based form but you can usually figure a workaround if you have trouble. Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by chrisgee on 04-15-2013 "The filter expression is on external data and could not be validated" I get this error when trying to publish a browser-enabled form. The full error is "The filter expression is on external data and could not be validated. It may not be supported in Web browser forms." This is happening because I have cascading drop-down lists that are populated from a Sharepoint List. The second drop-down filters its ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by chrisgee on 03-28-2013 Re: Ignore blank entries in Sharepoint List No, you have it right, thanks! Looks like I need to do something on the Sharepoint side to filter out the blank entries. On the Infopath side I need to be able to let users skip some fields if it doesn't apply to them. I need this only becuase once the form goes out there will be thousands of users/entries so I'm trying to keep things ...
