As soon as I set the rule to make that field a required field, no one can enter a form even if they put an end date in that field. It gets a dashed red line around the box, indicating that the field requires a value, even ... No, it doesn't require versioning to be turned on, we use forms every day where they are checked out and in and they don't require versioning. I was hoping to capture the date and time that the form was checked in and display that in a column, but if it can't be done I just need confirmation, ... I have a form where I need to display the date and time that it was "completed" after it's checked back in. How would I go about doing this? I'm no novice, but THIS, I can't figure out. Thanks. Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by dsmith45 on 01-28-2022 Problems showing Approved status in a Document Library column Hi, I've created a new form for my company and I've been setting up individual Approvals for each of 3 different workflows. The approvals process works flawlessly but I am having a problem trying to figure out how to show the approval status on the document library in a column, without a separate column for each of the 3 new workflows. It's been a very long time since I had to add a "Submitted Date" column in a SharePoint library from an Infopath form. Can someone remind me how this is done? I can see it in other forms I've created but I can't remember where it comes from or how I got it there. :/ This is a good field to have because you can ... Too bad InfoPath and SharePoint are no longer supported, but I'll keep coming back here if we run into any more issues in the future! Dan Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by dsmith45 on 11-05-2021 Invalid form template error - Invalid or malicious HTML was found in view <view> Hi, I have created a new form, it's quite busy with many sections and many things that happen using Rules (like hiding of sections if something is "False", etc.). Upon adding a new section today, I started getting Design Checker errors saying "Invalid form template error", and when I click on that, the message ... Posted to General (Forum) by dsmith45 on 08-09-2016 Re: Date picker not working The issue was that Microsoft released some security patches in March which rendered the date picker and any calculated fields useless. Our fix was to go back to SP2010 and InfoPath 2010... now everything is working like a charm.
