the only problem with the formatting.. is that when I switch the text to bold with the rule - it switches ALL the values in the drop down to bold.. or if i switch the color - same thing, every value in the drop down turns that color until I pick a different ...

A common issue I see is rules set on the target field. But rules fire when a field changes, so if the rule to set txtC is ON txtC, as you realized, the rule was not going to fire. :)

Can you just add conditional formatting to the drop down? If the field is equal to the desired value, set the formatting to bold?

Is there any way to achieve this without using code?
Once someone selects a certain value within a drop down, once selected (or when the form submits) I want to change the value text to bold.. I have a feeling this can only be achieved with rich text boxes but just wanted someone to confirm...
And if this can be achieved with code - is it ...

All items in my MSLB displayed on separate lines on the form. They are displayed as "wrap around" in SP2013 Doc lib column. How do I keep them separated like what I see in the MSLB? Thanks
