Hi,
Is there any way to create a survey using MS Infopath 2013 ? I am trying to create a survey which will take feedback from employees about their peers.
For has to be created such that different managers can customize the form as per their requirement and generate a report of consolidated responses.

Hi,
I used the above solution but this is still not working. As soon as i select the value in the drop-down field the value gets disappeared.
Please suggest.

Drag your secondary data sources onto the form so you can see the actual values in the different columns. That may help you with your filter. If you want, attach a copy of your form under the Options tab in a reply & I'll try to take a look at it tomorrow.

Ok, I would prefer NOT to have rules based on the first field, to be honest with you. In my form, I plan on having multiple Player fields to be filled in, but each of those secondary fields are filtered from the initial Team Field.

Querying to get back just the items you need is an alternate approach - if your dropdowns aren't in a repeating table or section. My assumption is that ...

I think I have isolated the problem to the second action item in the Rule - Query using a data connection - for some reason it is returning invalid WHL team from that list.
I have the list set up with a lookup column for Team. so, I am not sure why it cannot find and filter by that field.

Hilary,
You are 100% correct, I've tried to run the Oracle connection query using button & form load as you suspected both failed .
It appears the code breaks on the line below:
OracleConnection conn = new OracleConnection(oradb); // C#
conn.Open();
