I have developped a purchase authorization form running on InfoPath 2010 in Filer mode.
With some items an other form need to be completed (handwrited) and faxed.
So, I want to create a new form (or Subform?) to handle this task, but I want it to be a "clever" form!

So - are these secondary data sources? Main data source? In a main data source, you should nest the repeating groups - I've attached a sample, save it locally, right click and select design to open in design mode, then preview.

You can add ?IsDlg=2 after newifs.aspx like this:

This works on SharePoint 2010 and 2013

I have created a number of infopath forms (not web-based and not on Sharepoint) for my team to be able to use to do assessments with clients in their homes. 2 of these forms need signatures. I have added the signature line controls to the forms and they work.

I think the only way to do this is to change the Submit Options, so the form always opens a new record on Submit. See attached screenshot.

Can you see if you get the same error in InfoPath Filler instead of Browser? One thing I look out for in the Browser is rules or defaults on attributes - I've seen those make rules on their parent node or group fire.... which could cause something like this, but I don't know if it would be intermittent.
