Hi,

 I have developped a purchase authorization form running on InfoPath 2010 in Filer mode.

With some items an other form need to be completed (handwrited) and faxed.

So, I want to create a new form (or Subform?) to handle this task, but I want it to be a "clever" form!

When user click on button, 2nd form open pre-filled with info coming from 1st form.

When 2nd form is closed, some "recap" data are filling fields on form #1

Is InfoPath 2010 can handle this, and how can I do it?

In our environment we have some forms that are populated by other forms. To get this to work we created a Data Connection to the first form's library, and then in the second form have a field that is a drop down selector that displays this data connection. Rules on this field pull data from the first form library in to the second form. 

We haven't done anything to push data back in to the first form as a result of submitting the second form. Perhaps this would be possible with some sort of workflow?
