How interesting. And this is just a regular email submit connection? And a regular InfoPath form published to a SharePoint Library? Any chance I can see the form?

You have one too many parentheses at the end of your formula. Try:
Field 1 - ((Field 1/Field 2) * Field 3)

Yeah, I meant the SOAP Web service. Unfortunately I only have read only access. Would there be a way to automatically close or disable the error message? I have already tried querying with the substring-after formula to just pull the user and it errors out on the ones that have a different domain. I just want to slap the people who set up AD users ...

I wasn't sure how to illustrate it, so I just did a screenshot. If you're looking for another format, let me know.
Thanks for the response.

I don't have good news - out of the box, if the query fails, InfoPath is going to return an error message to the user. Did you develop the SOAP web service (I'm assuming that is what you mean by SOAP database)? Maybe the web service could be modified to just take user name and not include domain? I'm assuming this is a control button placed on the form that executes the submit in Rule 1. What happens when you click the control button?
I would check to make sure that the default value for SubmitHide is NOT set to True.
I see that you are switching to another view in Rule 1. You could simply not have the ...

Hi, I'm trying a pattern match on a decimal data type. Right now I have the results that I want (any positive or negative decimal number is valid), except that it won't match 0 (zero), which should be valid. Here is my expression:
-?\d*?\.\d*
The text box containing the decimal (default value is 0.000) is formatted as a ...

I'm having trouble understanding the structure of your form - can you attach your template under the Options tab in a reply?
