Also do you have steps to use SOAP services to connect to excel to send data Posted to General (Forum) by anupt1986 on 04-18-2016 Re: Check out/in of InfoPath forms on SharePoint 2013 with claims Hi Laurie, This may seem like a strange suggestion, but why not just create your own field-promotedProperty-column for monitoring checkin/checkout status? Just add a rule that on form load that checks the field. If it's blank, set it to the current person, submit the form, and leave it open. If it's not blank, check to see if ... You can export the XSN as source files and copy that section to the same place in the browser form's XSF just before publishing the new form. Then they should be the same. Or, just keep one copy and publish it as the filler until it is browser ... Hi Liz, First I would try changing the setting in the email data connection that controls whether the form is attached or not and whether it shows up in the view or not. You may have to remove the connection and re-add it and specify that it should be attachment only (i.e. not send the view). There was a bug between 2007 and 2010 that resulted in ... If it's just try this: substring-before(field, ":") * 60) + ... Posted to Code (Forum) by Patrick Halstead on 04-18-2016 Re: How do I trigger code on the mail send event? You can't do it easily on that button, but here's another idea: why not add a new button to your form called "Send" that has rules defined on it. You should then be able to add code behind to the button. Posted to General (Forum) by Patrick Halstead on 04-18-2016 Re: Verification Condition for Querying Database Thank you Hilary! Could someone point me in the direction of what kind of code I would need to use? Basically what I need is a way to query the database, check for an error (invalid user because of domain), if error is produced, then query with other domain. After determination of which domain is valid for the users, the rest of my rules ... I would also suggest setting the width to a fixed number of pixels (not 100%). Hope one of those is your silver bullet. :) Posted to General (Forum) by Patrick Halstead on 04-18-2016 Re: Pattern Matches for Decimal and Zero Value Hi Gwen, My first guess is that pattern matching validation only works on strings. Can you add a separate string field for your input and set the decimal field when it changes (assuming it matches the value)? My second guess is that it is getting hung up on the '\.' since the dot has special parsing meaning. But, your slash ... Try substring(field,5,5). Then you can compare that to 02-16 and/or 03-15. To do a numeric comparison, you can remove the hyphen (-) character using the translate(field,"-", "") command and ...
