Hello meysam, The option to customize the form is only available with SharePoint list forms. For form libraries, you must first design your form in InfoPath, and then publish to an existing or new Form library. The reason for this is that a list form is essentially operating on top of the SharePoint list, and is considered flat data. InfoPath ... The Name dropdown is in your main data source, but uses data from the Secondary data source. I've attached an example that you can preview to take a look at the logic you will need. In this example, I've used a secondary XML data source so that you are able to preview, but it will work the same ... The scenario you've outlined above is a cascading dropdown that relies on the value of the upc. You've started in the right direction, but just need to make a few edits o your form. I'm attaching an example for your reference. Take a look at the drop down rules. Your logic was almost ... You'll want to set up your repeating section with the dropdown, with a rule on that field to set the ... The scenario you're describing is definitely similar to situations we encounter often. If I understand correctly, you have a nested repeating section in which a country is selected, and all items related to that country should be populated in a nested section? Out-of-the-box there is not ... Posted to General (Forum) by Bre Huston on 12-11-2014 Re: Timer Hello MADOURI, Unfortunately this is not something that InfoPath would be able to do. View changes are only triggered from button clicks or form load rules. You could have a rule that sets the view start and end time, and each field triggers a rule to evaluate if the time is past the end value or not, and then disable the view if it is. Hope ... To help them this issue:Make sure they have the Designer installed on their machineHave them right click the file from the saved location and select designOnce in design mode preview the formId that is still ... I would say that this is more related to setting on your machine or the view file of the XSN. We typically recommend publishing and testing often in the environment the form will be used in. Often forms will look much different in the designer or in preview than they do in the browser. There is often even ...
