Where are you trying to add it? You are just writing a new XML file to an existing form library?
-
Well - your submitted file is linked to the form you have open in designer - so likely somewhere on your local machine, where you save it to work on it. Go to the relink view and sort by the template URL and you should be able to find the outliers and relink them.

I have successfully set the date picker value to today and diabled the calenda drop down on two forms. However, I am unsuccessful with doing the same thing with a SP list. Anyone know what I can do or what I am doing wrong? Can anyone help?

2. Create a new textbox control called ...

Is this working with Sharepoint list based formes? When i use the rules in that form it shows only ID's of the selections.

Yes indeed this is a form for a SharePoint Online list. The lookup dropdown is actually looking at a different list to the rest of the form fields. The rule isn't on the lookup control, it's on a textbox, because that's the control I want the actions to happen on.
If formulas are the only way let's go with that, bear in mind I ...
