Thanks - totally missed that. I'll take a look later today.

Hi Hilary.
Yes, the form was created through a list in SP, then it was edited into the current form through Infopath, the Comments field was added in Infopath.
The Textbox is not enriched, it is a simple Textbox.
The form is attached to you in a response before the GIF.

So, it sounds like you are saying this is a SharePoint list form? And is the comment field rich text with versioning?

I attach this small gif, where I show you a record already saved in the minute field, but see how the data already saved changes as the dropdwon changes, which is not correct, since the minute data should not be change to be saved and read-only.

Hi Hilary.
Thank you so much for your answer, I have attached an example for you to review.
In this case, I don't use an Infopath SAVE button, I use the native Sharepoint SAVE button to save the item.
Also uncheck the option for the "Value" box to be read-only without any good results.
I hope you can help me, thank you.

Ah ok, good to know..Will have to go the external SharePoint route or Power Apps Portals eventually
Cheers!

Well - an InfoPath email form would pre-suppose the end user (i.e. the email recipient) has InfoPath installed. Which is more and more unlikely! So, I don't think this is likely to work....

I'm not sure what the "edit view" is you are mentioning. Is this the same thing as the list view where the user is clicking export to excel? And this is SharePoint on prem 2013? I just tried adding a calculated column to my list and as long as it is not in the list default view, it isn't included in the export.

Here's a simple sample form - right click the link, and save the file locally. Right click the file and select Design. Then you can preview it. I don't quite understand your description of what is not working as anticipated in your form. Perhaps you could attach a sample under the options tab in a reply?
