  • Enabling XP-Themed Buttons in Task Panes and Modal Dialogs

One anomaly you will run into if you have the Windows XP Themes turned on and are using a task pane or a modal dialog in your form is that buttons in these HTML pages will look different than those inside the InfoPath form view. This is because the HTML pages within InfoPath do not have this feature turned on. You can correct this by adding the ...

  • Enable InfoPath E-Mail Features

Most people will never run into this problem, but a few of you will and it could drive you nuts. The InfoPath application includes the e-mail features Send Form As Attachment in the designer, and Send To Mail Recipient in the editor. These are both found under the File menu. If for some reason these are not present, one or more issues will need ...

  • exporting to excel, with rows

I have 40 sets of data in one InfoPath page. I want to be able to separate each separate set of data by rows when exported into Excel. Each set of data is a small table with 2 text boxes and 2 drop downs. There are 40 different ones of those sets of data on this one page. If there is a way to separate them into rows of information each when ...

  • User Role Evaluation Order

InfoPath evaluates the User Roles in top-down order, as they appear in the Manage User Roles dialog box. But there is no built-in way to reorder these roles. Manually editing the manifest.xsf file is the only way to accomplish this. Here are the steps:Extract the form files to a folder, and then close the InfoPath designer. InfoPath places a lock ...

  • Re: VB Managed Code Examples

I think you answered my question. I assumed that of those examples that had code, there were versions for VBScript and VB.NET. There aren't many samples available yet for languages other than jscript and I was hoping to find some. Thanks for the examples you've provided though. They do help.

  • Re: VB Managed Code Examples

Which examples specifically are you referring to? There are many examples that don't actually use code, and are thus compatible with all code (i.e. JScript, VBScript, C# and VB.NET). Does that make sense? If I could find a better way to represent that in the table, I would do so. But if there is are specific examples, please let me know which ...

  • VB Managed Code Examples

In your examples section on this site, you mention VB.NET and VBScript versions available, but I'm only seeing jscript versions in the downloads. Are the other formats available for download? Thanks
