Hi Patrick,
Can I use the downlevel tool to do this? I'm not too sure how to go about in using this tool but I read somewhere that this might help.

Yes, it is a database connection query. When I type in a field to search, it brings up all the records that match that field on a single page. If I have 5 records that match the query, all 5 will show up on the same page. This is rather confusing to look at. Just wondering if I have to create a view specifically for this so that the records ...

Hello pmbarnes,
InfoPath throws that dialog box when it cannot connect to the DB whose path is given in the manifest.xsf. In throwing this dialog box it#%92s giving the user the option to map to DB in another location.

No, I think the better way to help somebody is give some explanation (why things are likes that, examples and some links) but not necessary the solution because if you give the solution in many cases, after one or two weeks the person don't remember why he do that and how that work! Hi again,
You definitely don't need to do Full Trust for username. Domain-level trust with managed code works just fine. We'll look into your access issues.

Patrick, I also tried to use the shared database approach you document on pp. 174-175 in your book. I don't get the same gray dialog, but I can't make it work at all (other gray dialogs). Creation of the data source in InfoPath goes fine and all seems well, but when I run the app it won't connect, not even when I launch the xsf from the user's ...

I have it in Trusted Sites. If I puthttp://<my server name> in IntraNet zone, when I click to the button to query an Access db I get a dialog stating ''This Web site uses a data provider that may be unsafe. If you trust the Web site click OK, otherwise click Cancel.'' If I click OK I get another dialog stating ''This Web site is using your ...
