• Re: UserName bug(?) for forms published to SP library

Sounds like a permissions issue. Is this running Domain trust? What zone is URL in? It should be in IntraNet zone not Internet or Trusted. Please check in IE. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: Form in Email Body

Hi again, OK, I just confirmed with MS that this functionality is not part of the e-mail submit data connection in InfoPath SP1. Apparently, this feature was cut because it was too difficult to get the security rights and satisfy the testing matrix for sending HTML in the data connection during the tight SP1 dev cycle. Obviously, more information ...

  • UserName bug(?) for forms published to SP library

I've got a managed form I'm publishing to a SharePoint Team site Forms Library on a domain controller. I've discovered that calling Environment.UserName in the form's OnLoad event handler essentially causes a silent runtime error, preventing any code that follows in the handler from executing. • Re: Form in Email Body

Hi Khansolo, Default ''File->Send To E-mail Recipient'' is fine even for ''Restricted'' forms. Unfortunately, it doesn't support programmatically modifying who you send it too. This is a great question - you want to have it send the form as HTML but control the routing via the envelope parameters. Let me as Microsoft and see what they say ...

  • Re: DLL references from infopath form

It sounds as if your project file may be corrupted. I recommend creating a new InfoPath solution, add a reference to the dll, and make sure Copy Local is True. Then publish the form, a blank form is sufficient, then check the xsn file to verify that it contains the dll. You can quickly view the xsn contents by changing the .xsn extension to .cab ...

  • Query search results

When I do a query search on all the entries based on a specific day, I get multiple returns on one page. I guess it's because my form has repeating sections. But how do I get it to show me the results in separate pages? Is there a code that I have to use for the ''Run Query'' button?

  • Re: Form in Email Body

Hi Patrick, Yes, I would like default send functionality. Is there any way to do this without full trust?
