The Code I gave would have done exactly what you were trying to do, with slight modifications.
var repeatingTable = XDocument.DOM.selectNodes( ''/my:Data/my:group1/my:group2'' );
var sum = 0;
while( row = repeatingTable.nextNode() )
{
var subtotal = getNodeTypedValue(row.selectSingleNode( ''my:line_item_total'' ));
sum += subtotal;

Well if you have the right Adobe software installed all you should have to do is print to PDF. File -> Print, Choose Adobe PDF as the target printer and hit ''OK''...
I would think this is pretty trivial - was that really your question?

Hi Greg
Thanks for the reply. I'll try that.

Hmmm... It does make sense but unfortunately, I'm not that familiar working with web services. I was hoping there was a direct way of modifying them either through code or rules. I guess I'll have to read up then.

Thank you Greg but nope, that does not work at all, not even for the first row. When I made your suggested changes I got an error ''Object reference not set to an instance of an object'' and a warning in VS I had mentioned before.

XDocument.UI.Alert(eventObj.Site.xml)
It would return something like:
<CHILD>
<ID>1.1</ID>
<..>..<..>
</CHILD>
The father will not be ...

Look into storing your attached file as a BLOB type.

I found an answer to myself:) If somebody finds it helpful here is my code that calculates subtotals for each row of a repeating table:
Dim numRows As Integer = _
thisXDocument.DOM.selectNodes(''//my:repeatingTable'').length()
Dim i As Integer
For i = 1 To numRows
Dim field1 As Double = ...
