Hi,
How could to use a file attachment control binding to a sql data field?
i have a table with a blob data type field(ntext, text or image), but when i create my data source with infopath, my datafield of a blob field only can be image control and not file attachment.
How can convert this to use like a file attachment?
Thanx

Try this in your formula (no string conversion necessary):
concat(COMPANY_NAME, DATE)

ths first question:
u need coding in jscript for obtain this functionality, like patrick say, maybe using the mailenvelope object.
For the two question:
You need do a webservice to query the active directory.
using LDAP is good choice.
Then in infopath query this webservice to obtain the users information.
I hope this help you.
