Hello,
I have made several infopath forms in the path that sent an email to a user based on our companies username, instead of standard format email. For some reason in this form i get a generic error to contact my admin if i try to send using username or standard name. Does anyone know why that would be and if there is a workaround?

Hi All,
I have InfoPath 2013 form, the form has a multitext field.
The field should contain information like - 1234567; 1234567; 1234567; 1234567;
I need to make sure that user enters all numbers with 7 digits separated by '; ' semi comma and space.
Can you please let me know how to achieve this.

Hi Hilary,
I changed the multiselect column to multiline text field and it displays the data .
This multitext field isn't mandatory but when I open the form its shows mandatory.
Even on entering data the field shows validation error.
Please check the attached image.
Is there anything I am missing out?
Thanks

Hi Hilary, good day.
First of all, I offer you an apology for the delay in my response and I really appreciate your time and effort that you dedicate to answering questions and helping to solve them.
Regarding this request, I can tell you to do what you said as a solution, and yes, it worked. What I did was add a rule in the part of ...

Wait, I figured it out. Just create a read-only text field and name it "SubmittedDate" and enter "now()" as the value, then click your submit button and add the rule that is "if the SubmittedDate is less than "now()", hide this control. Duh... LOL

It's been a very long time since I had to add a "Submitted Date" column in a SharePoint library from an Infopath form. Can someone remind me how this is done? I can see it in other forms I've created but I can't remember where it comes from or how I got it there. :/
This is a good field to have because you can ...

Hello, I am also doing the same project, in which if we choose N/A, the value of that will distribute to other parameters. Is there a way wherein we can covert this excel formula to Infopath?
=IFERROR(SUM(J16:J37)/(100-(SUMIF(E16:E37,"N/A",D16:D37))),0)
J16:J37 = sum of the points
100 = default
E16:E37 = counting of how many ...

So, this really isn't possible, I don't think - your column 2 would have to be a multiselect, and there isn't a way in InfoPath to select all in a rules based way. You could concatenated the results using a double eval, I suppose, and store that in a multi-line column. Search the forum for double eval to find samples of that.

Ah, I guess a user could have add rights w/out edit - hopefully if someone else has seen this they can chime in.

I'm troubleshooting this site for someone else and that's what I initially thought, but they said they had a user group where the edit rights were removed but allowed them to add items to the list (it's not a library).
From further digging since post I see there are inherited rights but not sure exactly what and the user group the ...
