Hi Brandt,
I'm sorry that the HowTo was not easily understood, I will look into making things more clear.
It seems that you correctly identified the namespace on the group, but remember each node in the hierarchy can contain a different namespace.
From your example above, I think something besides namespace issues is going on here and to ...

This seems like it would do the trick, but it might be a little more than necessary.
A question I would like for clarity on your exact situation would be: Was the error message that InfoPath returned when you blanked out the Primary Key something to the effect of ''Primary Key cannot contain blank or null value'' ?
Also, I tried doing the same ...

We found a workaround, perhaps someone would comment on this approach:
We discovered that when you click the ''New Record'' button all datafields were blanked out. I added fields to our data source that were not tied to the db, thinking I could copy the db related fields to these variables. However the New Record button wiped those out ...

I am triggering a submit action witha rule and at that time plan to have some controls hidden with conditional formatting.
I expected the hidden controls would not be part of the dataset submitting to the database, however tehy submitted with blank entries.
Is there a better strategy, do I not understand hidden controls?
I would like to be ...

User Roles work well but require that you define AD groups for the departments. Not sure why your view is not switching. Probably either the order of the User Roles or the Open Rules.
AD Web service (we sell one for $19.95) also can be used effectively. View switching is trivial. Lots of posts on how to do it and examples in SDK as well as the ...

Hi Wongz,
Sure, our database accelerator enable the Web service and database scenario. You can save it to both places but then you have to pick one form as the basis. Having the same form in two places is not always a great idea because of synchronization issues. For example, someone can delete the form in SharePoint and search will fail. Better ...
