Thanks. At least I won't waste my time on it, then.
I still have troublesome performance issues to resolve. I've got a lot of DDLs in a repeating table, and each DDL has its own data connection. I know this is inefficient, but I don't see a way around it. I can't load all the tables from the Access DB in one data connection because I have to ...

I am wondering if there is a way to recover a template that was published over by another form. Our protal has version control on but it seems that version control does not cover templates. Is this correct or is there some other way to recover a tempalte that has been published over?

What type of data are you trying to paste into what type of data field? If the data types don't match, that could be a reason.

Sounds like an unusual situation. Try deleting your rich text box from the view, and then adding a new one back in.

Only load small sets of data. Performance is a big topic when it comes to InfoPath forms. You need to track down what is causing the slowdown and then remedy that.
If it is simply that you are loading too much data, try paging it. It sounds like you might be using a database. You should be able to do this.

I reviewed your form. The problem is that of context. It emanates from the manifest.xsf file, but the problem was created in how you built the view. I won't get into details because it would take too long to explain.
Here's what you need to do to manually fix the issue:
1. Immediately following the first repeating table (in the same layout
cell) ...

Deb,
Let's start over with a few things.
1. You have no reason, with your form, to be calling into code from your rules. Let's just leave that alone.
2. Selecting the Cannot Be Blank check box: This puts red asterisks on fields so the user knows that they have to fill those out. You say you have required fields, well each of those should have ...

I developed a Bill of Materials/Purchase Acquisition form that I would like to find out if I can add 'password' controls to it. Once the user of the form fills it out, I would like to be able to have that person enter his name in a field + a password for that person.. then an e-mail to be sent to the next person who must review the form and if is ...

Any ideas on how that might be done? I've tried it with no success....
