Here is the code for the xml file: I did take out the Server Information- looks okay?
<?xml version=''1.0'' encoding=''UTF-8''?><?mso-infoPathSolution solutionVersion=''1.0.0.3'' initialView=''View 1'' productVersion=''11.0.6565'' PIVersion=''1.0.0.0'' href=''file:///\\OurServer\Petes\Claims%20Notification%204.0.xsn'' ...

This would require a custom ActiveX control, but I'm not sure whether even then it would work because InfoPath allows only limited interaction with ActiveX controls.

Check the XML file that the manager received and see if it contains the InfoPath processing-instructions at the top of the file. It sounds like those are getting stripped out for some reason.

Is it possible to design a form, so the end user can upload a link or attach a video or mp3, and then have playback controls that plays back the media within the form?

Good to know that your problem is solved!
Please post here if you have any other questions.

Thank you for leading me in the right direction. I had the rules set to make sure all the unchecked boxes were set to 0. There were a few of them in there that were set to '''0''' instead of 0 -- probably duplicated from me cutting and pasting. So the value was not boolean -- it gave me the error automatically. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Ricosta,
I had actually performed the steps that you had suggested, however, I still do not see the ''database'' option to select. I see every other option except database.
Your thoughts!

Double click on the checkbox and see what is the value ''When Cleared'' and ''When Checked''. Those will be the values that get set when the check box is not cleared and .checked

You save the config file in a central location like a sharepoint or a webserver and load that config file when the form loads.
You can either use a InfoPath secondary dataconnection to load the config file or you can use C# XMLDocument to load the file from the central location.

You can try ''../my:TimeTracking[last()]/my:TTemployee''. This should work if you are getting the last ''TimeTracking'' node.
