Follow these steps to hide section untill check box (tick box) is checked:
1. First of all insert one check box (tick box) ''Field 1'' into InfoPath form.
2. Insert a section ''Section 1'' and place all the controls you would like to show when check box (tick box) ''Field 1'' is checked.

Thanks for your reply, but Im a bit lost now!! I need a step-by-step guide to help me through this I think, do you know roughly where I can find one to fit my criteria? I did mention that I am totally new to Infopath just been using it a couple of days.
