  • Re: DDL based on date picker

Matt, Thanks for the response. It's not that they can't (wrong word), Access is not well known for it's locking and performance. The suggestion to go to SQL is a good one, but I need a short term solution. I was hoping there was a non-database solution, just because the data being displayed was only temporary data, only needed for that user ...

  • DDL based on date picker

I have a time sheet form and on the form there is a date that is picked with a date picker control. I also have a ddl that is populated with the pay periods based on the date picked. Currently I update a table in a Access database, deleting the old and adding the new pay periods based on the new date. This works fine for testing the form and ...

  • Access and Sharepoint

I have a form that uses an Access database both in managed code and in the data connections. I have the database on a shared network drive. When I test the form on my development machine everything works fine. I then publish the form to a Sharepoint server. When I try the form from either the server or a user machine it no longer works. I don't ...

  • AD Web Service

I am trying to install the AD Web Service on a couple of machines. One is a Sharepoint Portal that will house my finished form, another is on my machine so I can test the service. On the Sharepoint machine there are 3 web sites defined, one being the default. When I install ADService it does not install into the default but a secondary site. How ...
  • Re: Active Directory

Patrick, The problem is I know nothing about web services, how to install them or use them. The amount of reference information at my disposal is VERY limited. I've gone to the local book stores and they didn't have any books on InfoPath. I have a couple of books being shipped and they should be here in a few days. I'm very interested in not ...

  • Re: Strange problem

Matt, Thanks, that worked. quote:Originally posted by Matt Faus I believe you have fallen victim to event bubbling. There are a couple of options here, but what is happening is that the OnValidate event is being called for several nodes through a hierachy. Instead of using e.Source, I suggest using e.Site, and on top of that you should ...
