    DDL based on date picker

I have a time sheet form and on the form there is a date that is picked with a date picker control. I also have a ddl that is populated with the pay periods based on the date picked. Currently I update a table in a Access database, deleting the old and adding the new pay periods based on the new date. This works fine for testing the form and getting to a point where I can show the users how it will work.

The issue is when multiple people are using this form they can't all be updating the same table at the same time. I was looking into using xml data files but I'm not sure they can be updated through code and I can't seem to be able to define the field as repeating.

I have also tried the method in 'Populate a Drop-Down List Box via Code' and after changing the xsl file I receive an error that InfoPath can not open the manifest.xsf file.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

    Thanks

That's weird that several users cannot update the same table at the same time, does it give you an error or something? If the Access DB is on the network it should only take a few seconds to do the update.

If all else fails you might want to consider switching to a full SQL installation and using our DBXL product:http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QDBXL1

    Matt,

Thanks for the response. It's not that they can't (wrong word), Access is not well known for it's locking and performance. The suggestion to go to SQL is a good one, but I need a short term solution. I was hoping there was a non-database solution, just because the data being displayed was only temporary data, only needed for that user session.
