I'm trying to combine two processes. For the first one there already exists an Infopath form (including library) and a SharePoint workflow (IP 2010, SP 2010). The second one I'm building now.
Proccess #2 creates some data (via IP form) that should be used to automatically start process #1.
So basically what I'm trying to do, is to automatically populate the IP form of process #1 with the data from the IP form of process #2.
In my opinion the easiest way would be to have IP to create an xml-file with the relevant data included and import it to the form library of process 1 via SP workflow.
But I couldn't figure out a way to create an xml-file with infopath.
I tried to comprehend xml mapping but didn't really get it. I tried web services, too and couldn't find a proper solution either.
So if someone has a great idea how to do this or knows how I can create an xml file with IP, I would be really greatfull.
