    Open .xml file in Browser

Here is what I am trying accomplish: I have a bunch of XML files saved in a shared drive, I created an Infopath schema based on that xml and published it to a Sharepoint library. I want to be able to click on any of the the .xml files in my drive and have them open in the browser, right now it is working when I right click and select "Open in Infopath". I figured this could be achieved by modifying the header of the xml to include the URL where the associated schema has was published to Sharepoint: To include something like .../Forms/template.xsn?OpenIn=Browser" but of course this isn't working. Is there a way to do this? Thank you

     Hi ITGirl,

What I would try first is upload the XML files to your SharePoint library, then use the relink function to link them to the library template: . This should fix up the XML file headers to include the correct processing instructions.  Then you can just download the fixed up files to your drive and they should now open in the browser correctly.
