    Getting a "How To" to run

    I downloaded this, tried to open it but I get an error in InfoPath that says it needs to be at a certain directory on Infopath.com to run.

    Hello Robv,
    You cannot open the manifest directly because it was developed on some other machine and you have just copied it. So to open the manifest you should publish it locally or open it in design mode and preview it.

    Hi Rob and welcome. To use the HowTo the easiest method is to right-click the manifest.xsf, click "Design" then from inside the designer click Preview. Also from designer you can click save or publish to properly setup the xsn to be opened directly.
