    Anonymous Email Button

    Please help

I would like to create a button, that when clicked, emails all the info on the form to a specific address, but the send/user must remain anonymous. I can get the form to send but it always displays the user/adress it came from. Any suggestions or assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

Can you please try these steps.

    1. Double click on button to open button properties dialog
    2. Select “Submit” in the Action dropdown.
    3. Select “Enable submit Commands and buttons’ option in the submitting Form dialog box.
    4. Select Email in the “Submit to” dropdown.
    5. Click on add button.
    6. Select “FX” button beside of the TO field.
    7. Select the field where you are getting the “To” value from. (Ex: if you are entering in the form, enter that field path; or if you are getting from any secondary data source, enter secondary data source path)
    8. Enter the Subject what you want.
    9. Click on next and click on finish.

That sends the mail, but on the recipients side it still show the sender which posses a problem when we dont want the users name to be know. I'll even create a "general" email address which can be used for this if there is a way to change the sender.

are you using sharepoint? or do you have to use infopath?

Infopath would give you some great functionality, but it might be easily set up in sharepoint.  Sharepoint has a questionaire, survey, etc that you can set up annonymous submit.  I don't know if it is or would work for you, but could be looked into.

Maybe possibly talking to your email admins and see what they can do.
