I want my form to contain 2 TextBox controls.
The first one is a TextBox that all user that open the form (open it from SharePoint Libreary) will be able to write in it.
The seconed TextBox - only specifice user will be able to write in it!!! (for all the athers it will be read only)!!!
Should I use User Role for this??
This is what I did:
On form design -> Tools-> User Roles -> Add -> Role name="Manager" -> I select the specific user!
Now.... In the user roles list I have only ONE role and that's make it to be the DEFAULT role!!!!!!
on the seconde TextBox I did this: Propeties -> Display -> Conditional Formatting -> The condotion= "If User's current role is not equal to "Manager" -> Then apply=Read Only.
The problem is that any one who open the form can write in the second TextBox!!!!
it's not read only - The condition not work or it return FALSE.
What is the meaning of the "IF" conditin when I ask if User's current role is not equal to "Manager" ?
There 2 option as I can see it:
1) the current user role is "Manager"? (but it will alawys will be "manager" - there no more user roles!!!)
2) Is the current user belong to "Manager" user role? (That's what I need)
How to solve my problem??
