Form Library doesn't display newly published controls/fields as columns in views

I am modifying a form to add 3 new text fields and after publishing back (modifing an existing library) to my SharePoint form library (adding the new fields in the wizzard), they don't show up in any view. I don't think that it is a max allowed for display issue, as I have forms and libraries displaying many more, but can't find anything that would be an issue. Using Infopath 2003 and SharePoint WSS 2003.

    Thanks,

    Keith

Yes, the correct library and when I open a new form to fill out, the new fields show up in the form, they just don't show up as a column in the library views as though I had published the form without adding those fields during the publication.

    Thanks,

    Keith

    Hi,

You are saying that new added fields are not showing as promoted properties fields in share point form library?

    Hi,

    Thanks!

Yes that is correct. I have added 3 new text fields as controls in the form, republished adding those 3 new controls and they do not show up,,,,

I cannot remember for sure if SharePoint is supposed to update the view on an existing library or not but I ca think of a couple tests.

One I would publish your form to a new Form Library just as a test and make sure you get what you are looking for in the view.

Also I would go into SharePoint admin and manually create a new view with the fields you want checked for the form library you are having problems with and see if you can get it right manually.

    Hope that helps

Have tried but they aren't there to choose from when creating a new view. This seems to be the only library that gives me the problem....others I have updated have worked well, that's why I'm kinda stumped...

So have you tried publishing to a new library?

It may be something corrupt in the current library.
