Updating a SharePoint list from an InfoPath form

Hi, I have a receive connection from my SharePoint list to my InfoPath form which works but how do I then allow someone to update that form and then submit the data to the SharePoint list?

     Thanks

You can use code or qRules (in some circumstances - Office 365 no longer supports code in browser forms), FormsViewer, or CAML (if you aren't using Office 365 - you can't use the lists webservice there). Perhaps MS Flow or SharePoint designer workflow would work for you, if you only need to update one item?

     Hi,

It would seem all I needed to do was create the list in SharePoint and then open it in InfoPath which would then allow me to append to a list in SharePoint (which is good enough for what Im trying to do).

     Thank you
