Hi, Please help me to find solution for the below, I have to design a Info path form, the form having save button and submit button. User fill the form partially click on save button the form should be saved partially, After some time he will open that form, filled data remains same and again complete all fields data click on submit the form should be submit to share point list and work flow will trigged for approval process Please let me know how to do this.  All your buttons are technically submit buttons.

Add a field to your form i.e. FormStatus.

Your 'save' buttons submit the form to the library. Allow the form to over write itself if it is an existing form. Don't change the form status or change it to 1.Draft.

You can then have your form open to whichever view  you like with a form load rule and the form status field condition.

On your 'main/Final' submit button, change the set a rule to change the FormStatus to 2. Complete.

Your workflow can run when the form status = 2.Complete. 

Hi wilkies0106aw , Thank you very much for your reply and I'll follow your procedure but i have a doubt , How we can avoid the validation for Save button when some form controls are empty (because i applied require validate for 90 percent of controls) Thank you very much

 I don't use the inbuilt validation rule. For me the compulsory fields are too easily missed.

I've created my own rule on the final submit button, FormStatus must be X and Field X can't be blank etc. I also hide the final submit button within a section until all the validation checks have been passed.

If the field is blank highlight it and stop running the remaining rules.
