Infopath (IS BROKEN!!) Data Connections & SharePoint 2013 Service Pack 1

Hi Guys Hoping someone can assist me! Our servers recently added Service Pack 1 to SP2013 and totally messed up our whole environment! :( We have multiple infopath forms but will go through one example, hope it gives you as much information as needed. 1. Basically we have an infopath form that connects to a SQL Databases using Data Connection Files (because of cross domain policies etc) 2.These data connection files are used by dropdowns and text boxes with filters on them, and they worked fine with no issue or lag whatsoever before the service pack was installed. Form load and choosing options from a dropdown that populates another text box were usually next to instantaneous. After the service pack was installed it now takes ages for the form to load. We've tried not retrieving data when the form is opened and even added the data connections again but the form just takes ages to load. Usually the form will load within a couple of seconds, we've got it to load in 20 seconds but choosing an option from a dropdown lags the form even more by saying "Sending data to the server" which says that for around a couple of minutes. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a way to rollback a service pack? Is there anything that I can do? We've tried connecting the Content Database to a SP 2013 version without the service pack but I presume that the Content DC gets upgraded as well as it picks up 0 site collections when mounting the DB We've also tried a test form with just 3 fields connecting to the same SQL as above using the data connection files, the form does load quicker, but not as fast as it should be for a form library with just 3 fields..
