Hi Patrick
Thanks for the reply.
I have two machines, one with Adobe Reader 8, the other with Adobe Reader 5. I'm not sure that's the factor though, as I have the add-in installed on each machine, and have opened the same InfoPath form and exported to PDF on each machine, only to have the PDF's turn out different: differing page-size, plus on one document a page break is inserted (no page breaks are defined in the InfoPath form on any of my views). Viewing these PDF's on any other machine (with Adobe Reader) has them looking the same as they do on the machine they were exported on.
Both machines have Microsoft Office 2007 (InfoPath 2007), with the same PDF + XPS Microsoft add-in.
On another separate user machine, an exported PDF was printed in landscape (without changing any print settings). However, every export to PDF of the same InfoPath form prints in portrait when I run through the exercise. Comparing the PDF that printed in landscape to one that printed in portrait shows no difference in the page size of the documents - 9.84 x 10.00 in (250mm x 254.06mm). Different printers/print drivers though, so that might be the only issue there.
I don't know of a way to scale the size of a PDF document. In my scenario, multiple PDF's will be created daily (half-dozen, dozen perhaps), so having a situation where the PDF had to be manipulated post-export wouldn't be ideal.
Thanks for your help.
