 I have a repeating table based on a secondary data source (SharePoint List) and I'm trying to use qRules to map the fields of the repeating table to another SharePoint list.  The issue is that the qRules mapping tool is not recognizing the repeating table.  When I click the button in the repeating group section, nothing happens.

The mapping tool and command only work with the main data source at this point. Do you have a repeating table in your main data source that you are copying your data into?

 No, not currently.  I assume I can use qRules to do that.  I'm very new and need some guidance.

Yes, qRules has a command called CopyTable which allows you to accomplish this.

If the schema of the secondary data source and the main data source don't match, then CopyTable will fail, but you can use this workaround: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/entry58577.aspx

 I've followed the instructions in the video and I purchased the form, but the copy feature is not working.  Any suggestions what I may have missed? It's like the qRules aren't working at all.

 Usually I test qRules by putting the Command, Result and Error fields from the QdabraRules data source on my form. Preview and type GenerateGuid into the Command field. Tab out. Is there a GUID in the Result field? An error in the Error field? Is the Command field cleared?

It is easy to accidentally disable qRules in a form by adding custom code - you can use Remove Code from the Form Options > Programming and then re-inject in that case.

 I went back and checked some of my formulas and I had a "/" where I didn't need it and I alse had to adjust the concat formula to use the ID field and now it's inserting the records as expected.  Now, I want to remove the inserted if the user changes the record back to its original state.

 I guess you could add another connection to the same list so you'd have the original state of the data - then you'd have something you could check against to see if the user had changed it back to the original values. You'd want to refresh that data source after any submit to SharePoint list action so that it had the correct current state of the data.

 Thank you so much.  I was able to get it to work with the fabulous delete command.  Hurray for qRules!!!!  It's a life saver.

 One (hopefully) last question.  I have everything working now except the submit button.  I used the mapping tool to map my fields to the fields in my SharePoint list, saved the xml then created a data connection based on the qRules instructions.  I think I've completed every step, but perhaps I've missed something.  Also, I noticed when an instructor is showing how to use the mapping tool and they click on a field in the schema it appears like this (my:myFields/my:Submit-BNP/my:SubmitForApproval/my:pb_DmdBusn)  instead of my:pb_DmdBusn.

 If you'd like me to take a look, attach your form under the Options tab. If you are mapping repeating data, you'll see a relative path. If the video was mapping non-repeating data, the mapping will have the full path.
