When submitting a form to a sharepoint library via email, can it be automatically saved to my desktop?

    Hello,

Is there a way to submit a form via email to a sharepoint location and automatically be saved to my desktop as it closes?  I want to purely eliminate the "Save" step.

    Thanks

Not without writing code or using qRules (free trial here) - and your form will have to be full trust. I'd also like to mention - that if your XML is in two locations (on the desktop and in SharePoint) you have a data integrity risk - what if someone else opens from SharePoint, makes changes and saves? Now your local XML is out of sync - you open it, re-submit, overwrite the other user's changes...
